Our farm is located on the beautiful, pristine New Meadows River in West Bath, Maine. We chose this site for its cold, clean water, strong tides, and shelter from storms.
Every aspect of our farm was planned with environmental sustainability in mind.
Our oysters are be grown in floating traps to promote clean, hard shells and to minimize disturbance of the ocean floor. Nothing is added to the water- the oysters eat the abundant plankton that is naturally found in the New Meadows River. The farm acts as an artificial reef, giving our native oysters a safe place to grow while providing habitat for wild marine life like juvenile baitfish.
