I'm very pleased to announce that we've been awarded another grant from the USDA's SARE program (Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education) ! Our project tests a novel method of growing littleneck clams in a polyculture with our oysters.
We're hoping that the addition of littlenecks will help increase our total farm yield- in way that is compatible with, people, wildlife, and existing wild fisheries.
